Mageela Troche on the Best Part of Autumn

Wearing cozy sweaters
I love fashion. I pore over two of my favorite fashion magazines, Vogue and Elle. But what I love about fall is wearing cozy, warm knits. I love the feeling of being wrapped up. It’s the closest we can get to wearing blankets outdoors.

Changing of the leaves
I live in New York City. It is concrete, gray and industrial but the trees that line the streets and of course, there's Central Park. The changing of the leaves adds a dash of color and warmth to the city that is missing during the other seasons.

New TV shows
I love all the fall shows. Of course, I am glued to the TV watching Outlander but there are a few other shows I’m looking forward to seeing: Selfie, Black-ish, Forever, How to Get Away with Murder, Manhattan Love Story, and Cristela on ABC. On CBS, I’m waiting for Madam Secretary, Scorpion, NCIS: New Orleans. For Fox, I can’t wait for Gotham and Gracepoint. Finally on NBC, Marry Me, A to Z and Bad Judge.

Halloween
I admit it. I was never a kid who liked dressing up for Halloween. I did love the candy. But as an adult, I love seeing the kids dressed up. Just seeing their excitement makes me happy. That is the fun for me.

I love curling up under the covers, reading with a good cup of tea or coffee.

Oh,  so many books to read and I love being under the covers while reading a book. It helps transport me into a book’s world. Having a warm drink adds to the warmth I get from a good book, like my Claiming the Highlander. Here's
